Bridal Cake With 2 Birds

Design inspired by their wedding invitations (the branch and leaves). The birds were a recurring theme on their placecards and centerpieces.

I've been waiting to do a fantastic cake with birds (a seemingly hot new theme that I LOVE) and Andrea gave me a great opportunity. I also love that she chose the design that had the birds on the side of the cake instead of as a traditional topper.

I used a grouping of leaves as the topper.
